Bringing Health Self-reliance in Palamu

Our Vision

People in small cities are frequently faced with the challenge of migrating to larger cities for critical and better medical care. Our vision is a healthier Palamu — where timely, specialist medical care is available in every neighbourhood and no family needs to relocate for essential treatment. We aspire to be a trusted regional centre of clinical excellence, community prevention and medical education that lifts health outcomes generation after generation.

Our Mission

Aashi Care Trust’s mission is to make high-quality health care accessible and affordable to every family in Daltonganj and the wider Palamu district. We deliver patient-centred clinical services, rapid emergency response and community outreach programs that prevent disease, restore health and protect livelihoods. Through ethical governance and local partnerships, we ensure professional care is available near home — with dignity and compassion for all.

Our Values

Our Core Values:

  • Compassion: We put patients first — treating every person with respect, empathy and cultural sensitivity.

  • Clinical Excellence: Evidence-based protocols, continuous training and outcomes monitoring keep care safe and effective.

  • Transparency & Accountability: Open governance, audited accounts and clear reporting ensure donor funds and patient trust are stewarded responsibly.

  • Community Partnership: We work with local leaders, government schemes and NGOs to reach people where they live.

  • Equity: We prioritise services and subsidies for vulnerable families, low-income workers and those covered by government schemes.

What we do

Clinical Services

We operate a full multispeciality hospital in Daltonganj providing emergency care (24/7), intensive care (ICU), major & minor operating theatres. Our clinical teams deliver timely, evidence-based treatment close to home, helping patients avoid long, costly journeys for routine and urgent care.

Community Health Camps & Screening

We organize regular health camps in rural and peri-urban communities — screening for diabetes, hypertension, anaemia and eye problems, with on-the-spot diagnostics and referral support. Camps educate communities, provide early detection and link patients to appropriate follow-up at the hospital.

Training, Capacity Building & Jobs

We invest in local capacity by offering nursing internships, continuing education for staff, and priority hiring for residents of Palamu. The Trust partners with regional bodies and offers short courses that increase skilled jobs in the local health sector.

Subsidy & Charity Care

Aashi Care Trust administers charity funds and means-tested subsidies for low-income patients. Grants and donations help provide lifesaving surgeries, medicines and extended post-op care for those who cannot afford full charges. Join the movement!
