Role summary
You will provide patient-centred nursing care in ward & ICU settings, assist in procedures, maintain records and liaise with consultants. This role supports emergency & post-op pathways.
Key responsibilities
- Clinical monitoring and documentation for ward & ICU patients.
- Medication/IV administration and post-op care.
- Assist consultants in procedures and rounds; escalate clinical changes.
- Provide patient/family education and discharge planning.
Day-in-the-life
- Start of shift handover → patient checks → meds rounds → documentation
- Assisting in emergency stabilisation & transfers to ICU
- Family counselling & discharge coordination
Requirements
- GNM / B.Sc Nursing (compulsory) — valid registration/certification
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in hospitals (ward/ICU experience preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification desirable
